Laughter and Love

Love is one of the finest feeling in the universe. I feel it is the essence of life. Love helps us to grow and become better each day. Love is the cornerstone of any relationship. And to keep it alive it requires patience, compatibility, communication, sharing and caring. I ones read somewhere that laughter is the potent love medicine. And I feel it’s true. A couple that love and laugh together is the couple that stays forever.

This incident happened almost a year back. I am a big movie buff. And an ardent Deepika Padukone fan. It was when Piku released and I couldn’t resist watching it in theatre. It was Sunday and my lazy better half was dozing off in the bed in spite of my repeated reminders to get the tickets booked online. After much cajoling, he finally with a grumpy face did the needful.

We got ready and drove to the theater one hour before due to busy roads and much traffic jams. We reached the complex and got the print outs of our tickets, we were already 5 minutes late. As we entered the theatre I started moving towards the audi 3 as I saw the screen showing show timings and audi details at the entrance but my husband got hold of my hand and dragged me towards audi 4,  he didn’t listened me and I thought I overlooked the screen at the entrance. As we entered the Audi 4 it was full, in the center somewhere two seats were vacant and it matched the number written on our tickets we were happy to reach on time as some advertisements were going. In the same moment the person sitting next to us told that these seats belonged to their relatives who have gone to get snacks. Very confidently we told them these seats are ours and we have got the tickets, we even rechecked.

There was utter confusion at this moment, the two people returned with snacks and started asking us, they too were perplexed by this scene. They very politely asked us that where we were siting before the intermission. My husband got a jolt, apologized them for the confusion, again got hold of my hand and dragged me out of the audi, we both couldn’t control our laughter, and we actually entered the wrong audi.

Even today whenever we think of this incident we cannot control laughing. These small moments of laughter keeps a relationship spark alive. Even during our normal conversation or especially during fights we end all arguments with light tickles of laugh and love.

Soulmates

A joyous whisper, a pleasing scent, a sacred thread of care and cure
A perfect affinity so deep and pure
A celestial harmony of two souls, standing amidst the roaring shore
Entwined together we stand the storm
Some melodies never heard before
Some feelings never felt before
Our minds opposed
But our hearts rejoiced
It was the reunion of soulmates……

God has made “Someone special for everyone” and it is destiny how we get to meet that special person. That someone, who would fill our lives with love and laughter. Who would stand with us in good or bad, who would encourage, inspire and never cut off our wings with hatred or ego.

I had just finished reading the book ‘Only Love is Real’ by Brian L. Weiss and I completely believe and can relate to every word written in it. True to its title, it is about the concept of soul recognition and reunion of soulmates crossing the barriers of time and distance.

I am a strong believer of love marriage and for long my love anthem remained ‘Mere khawabon main jo aaye…’, till one day I got the biggest jolt of my life and ended up having an arranged marriage. I married the person my parents selected. I felt dejected.

And my story starts here, now that somebody I married is ‘my someone special’. My mind always opposed but my heart knew. My better half is my knight in amour. He is my soul mate. I really repent how much I have opposed him.

Our life now is filled with laughter and love. It was few days’ back I was sick and depressed due to some medical complications, drowned in tears; I hid my face in the quilt. How carefully he handled my emotions, he calmed me down with positive thoughts, gave a warm hug and soothing kisses and we ended that sadness with giggling and laughing together.  It was a pure moment of bliss.

Not ones or sometimes but our life is full of smiles. We fight; we do get annoyed with each other but we communicate, we share and end the heaviness of day with laughing together. We both know all the tricks of making each other laugh and feel good, sometimes we tickle with hands, sometimes we tickle with words and sometimes it is our naughty eyes.
He is my prince charming, the hero of my love stories, he is a blessing. He is my companion in love and laughter.

Hope and Life

One stormy night, with thunders loud

Drowned in tears, the sorrow profound

My energy flowing out and my dreams fall apart

I feel my soul collapsing with pain

Lying on bed I close my eyes

I envision a light so pious and holy, wiping my tears with care and love

My parched lips whispers a prayer

That light is my hope still so strong

My body feels broken but my heart has a hope

To heal the grief and revive the strength.

Wind energy is truly green energy

India is a developing nation and has to face the need of ever increasing energy demands. High levels of pollution, increasing population, global warming and scarcity of natural resources are posing a great threat. Everywhere around us we see massive commercialization, high rise buildings, deterioration of rivers and degradation of green belt. We all are reeling around the tremendous ill effects of global warming. It is giving rise to sudden climatic changes causing natural calamities.

Amidst all this still we have some untapped or we can say scarcely used resources such is the Sun and wind energy.  Making use of renewable and clean energy resource is of great help for our nation.

Wind energy or power is extracted from air flow using wind turbines or sails to produce mechanical or electrical energy. It is renewable, cleaner, hassle free, abundant and free from any menace caused by greenhouse gas emission. It is one of the most inexpensive source and requires some area for turbine foundation and respective infrastructure.

The environmental impact of wind energy is minimal.  It has the lowest global warming potential per unit of electricity generated. Greenhouse gas emission is causing various maladies. Why we are not rapidly shifting to renewable and safe resources? Wind energy is truly green energy.

India has the fourth largest installed wind power capacity in the world. Wind power accounts nearly 8.5% of India's total installed power generation capacity and generated 28,214 million Kwh (MU) in the fiscal year 2014-15 which is nearly 2.6% of total electricity generation. Though the figures are steady but still we need to do more to harness this most important energy resource.
